Description
Just because it’s traditional doesn’t mean it has to be predictable. Every slice of this Pineapple Honey-Glazed Ham is tender and juicy, and every bite is a sweet and savory reminder that a classic can still surprise you, in the best way. As it roasts, the air becomes infused with a sweet fragrance of honey, pineapple, and brown sugar, blended together. It arrives at the table with confidence, and it’s proof that even the most beloved traditions can still bring unexpected joy and magic.

Directions
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter melts, stir in the brown sugar until fully combined.
Step 2
Pour in the pineapple juice, then add honey and Dijon mustard. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cayenne pepper.
Step 3
Add vanilla extract and bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens.
Step 4
Place the ham in a baking dish and separate the slices so the glaze gets between each slice. Add a few pineapple slices to the bottom of the dish and pour the glaze all over the ham.
Step 5
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Step 6
Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the ham and lightly press it into place.
Step 7
Cover the ham with foil and bake at 325° for 1½ to 2 hours, depending on the size of your ham. Baste every 30 minutes to keep it juicy and flavorful.
Step 8
After 1½ hours, remove the foil and give the ham one more baste.
Step 9
Return it to the oven uncovered and broil for 5–10 minutes, just until the top caramelizes and crisps up.
Step 10
Broil for 5–10 minutes, just until the top caramelizes and crisps up.
Step 11
Enjoy!
