Description

The big game is coming, and no matter who you’re rooting for, wings always win. Let’s be honest, we say we’re here for the game, but if the food doesn’t hit, the night is off to a bad start. Wins are forgotten. Bad calls are debated. But disappointing wings? Unforgivable.

There’s an ongoing debate over which flavor reigns supreme. Buffalo lovers keep it classic. Honey BBQ fans love the sweet, smoky heat. Garlic parmesan folks argue for richness over spice. And there’s always that dangerously spicy flavor someone claims to love just to prove a point. Quietly, Hot Honey Mustard Wings are making a case. This flavor doesn’t scream for attention, but once you try it, you can’t ignore it. Sweet yet bold, tangy yet smooth, the heat builds and lingers, keeping you reaching for another wing. Hot honey mustard is perfectly balanced. It’s the wing you didn’t know you were craving until your plate is empty and you’re eyeing someone else’s. These are wings that spark conversation. They’re the ones people “just try one of” before quietly switching sides. Buffalo is tradition. BBQ is comfort. Hot honey mustard is unexpected, addictive, and delicious. This season, bring the classics if you must, but make room on the table for a contender ready to shake things up. When the wings are right, everyone wins.

Directions

Step 1

Add the chicken wings to a bowl and pour 1 tablespoon of hot sauce over them. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika.

Step 2

Double fry method: Fry the wings for 7-8 minutes at 325 degrees. Turn the temperature up to 375 degrees and fry the wings again for 3-4 minutes or until crispy.

Step 3

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, add mayonnaise, mustard, and dijon mustard. Give it a good mix. Once smooth, mix in hot sauce and honey. Add worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and cayenne pepper. Mix it all together and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Toss the wings in the sauce.

Step 5

Enjoy.
