“IT’S CORN, WE CAN TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT!!”  It’s juicy, it’s sweet, it can be savory. There are many ways in which you can cook it. Corn can be roasted, grilled, sauteed, and so much more. Corn is versatile and is often incorporated in many dishes. Our favorite dish as of late is boiled corn smothered in a delicious creamy Cajun alfredo sauce. The sweetness and crunchiness of the corn paired with the creamy, savory, buttery alfredo sauce brings pure joy to the tastebuds.

Directions

Step 1

Mince cloves of garlic

Step 2

Shred parmesan cheese.

Step 3

Boil or steam corn for 15 minutes.

Step 4

In a skillet melt butter.

Step 5

Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Step 6

Add heavy whipping cream and bring to a simmer. Allow to cook for 3 minutes.

Step 7

Season with creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper and paprika.

Step 8

Cut the heat and add parmesan cheese.

Step 9

Coat the corn in the sauce.

Step 10

Top with more parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and parsley.

Step 11

Enjoy.
