Description
One of our love languages is trying new restaurants and recreating their dishes at home. Once, we went to Grand Isle restaurant in New Orleans, tried their hot crab dip, and instantly fell in love. So you know we had to make it at home. This hot crab dip recipe is rich, creamy, and remarkably delicious. It is perfect for an appetizer, a game day dish, or if you are anything like us, it’s perfect for an at-home date night dinner. It pairs perfectly with a glass of wine, the rhythm of R&B, and all the feels. This dish will have you coming back for more.
Directions
Step 1
Dice yellow onion, green bell pepper, and jalapeño.
Step 2
Mince fresh parsley.
Step 3
Shred parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Colby jack cheese.
Step 4
In a skillet add butter. Add yellow onion, green bell pepper, and jalapeño. Sauté for 5 minutes or until tender.
Step 5
In a bowl, add cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, sour cream and mayonnaise. Season to taste with creole seasoning, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. Combine the ingredients.
Step 6
To the mixture, combine Louisiana hot sauce, the juice of a half lemon, parsley, and sautéed veggies.
Step 7
Fold in parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and colby jack cheese.
Step 8
Break down and fold in blue crab meat.
Step 9
Add crab dip to a cast iron skillet. Top with a mixture of each cheese and parsley. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
Step 10

- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup colby jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 1/2 green bell pepper
